Fundraiser Update

The organizer of our Benefit Tournament, Mike Yoshida, sent out an email this a.m. about all the generous donations thus far (tournament is tomorrow) for Raffles and the Cash donations, I just had to share:

The outpouring of support from our fellow pool players has been absolutely overwhelming. The following donations cannot begin to express how much love we have to share when one of our own is in need.

Ken Rogoway – match $5 for every entry fee
Britt Holder - $300 cash
Carl Pearson - 1970's original ADAMS pool cue and a new linen wrap donated by OB1 Cues (value $300-$500)
Sweet Shots Ladies Team (Kelly Addison, Cindi Blomquist, Tammy Kovach, Candi Morse, Tina Miller, and Patty Palmer) - $370 cash
Mark Elliott & Kim Leadbetter - $80 cash
Rocky Rockwell – Richard Black Custom Heart Assoc logo pool cue (value $500-$800)
OB-1 cues – Custom OB-1 shaft (value $195)
Gary Howell – pool cue (value unknown)
Numerous other cash donations

Let’s all see if we can rise to or even surpass the challenges set by the above front-runners.Come on gang, open your hearts (and wallets) for this great and worthy cause!

This is all BEFORE the Tournament is even beginning + we are also having a "mini-bazaar" and bake sale with all the proceeds to go to Tori. As I stated in the below post, I am so overwhelmed with the generousity of this Pool Family, it really is unbelievable, I can't wait to know the final tally and see how Tori is helped during this time of Need!!!
