New Puppy!

So, in case you haven't heard yet....Justin & I added a new member to our Family yesterday. He is a German Shepard/Chow Mix and is 9 wks old. We are still debating on names....

I tried to take pictures of him as he slept on my lap in the car on the ride home, he was so good and loved the ride.

It seems like he just needs to be close and feel you there and he goes right to sleep.

There was a point where he was of course had to readjust and crawl up my arm and rest on my shoulder - didn't take long there to fall asleep either.

He crawled behind my neck and under my hair and slept there for quite sometime. You can barely see him there under my hair...kinda the same colors...lol

Anything to keep him sleeping!

Once we got home, and Murphy met him there was no hesitation with the rough housing! They were non stop, typical brothers!

Murphy loved giving him baths as you can see here he is getting quite soaked....but still playing with toys

Murphy was so good with him, they were so meant to be together as brothers. Love at first sight for these two!

After enough playing, it was time to just lay down and rest even if it was still with a bone in his mouth!

We knew it wouldn't be long before Murphy would sneak up for his next attack...

We went and visited Justin today at lunch and got some pictures taken.
Puppy kisses are just the best!!

It looks like we made the perfect match with this pair!!!!

Now...if we could just get a name agreed upon....details, eh?

Carolina Trace

When driving to our Community, you will see a lake that lets you know that you are getting close

And, before you ask yes this Lake is stocked and can be fished in! Just the other day we saw someone with a Golf Cart on the side fishing Justin was very jealous that he didn't have one of those!!

When entering our Community you drive across the lake and the scenery is gorgeous!

Although it is just one way each way, it doesn't seem to be too bad of traffic. However, I haven't had to hit it at rush hour traffic (yet).

This picture is over to the left of the Main entrance, it is another way to get to the other Subdivisions.

Upon entering Carolina Trace, you have to go thru a Security Gate - So, no unannounced visits, sorry!
This really helps make me feel very secure living in this area!

After clearing Security, you just decide which way you want to go and proceed slowly...

To get to our house, you continue to just go straight over the bridge and it will take you through the woods...it's like I'm at my Parents in the Ozarks....except without the Gravel!

This is the beginning of the very curvy and hilly road on the way to our house...

Just more pics of the woods and the road...It is so calming driving home!

This is another big hill that kinda makes your tummy drop...

This is the final curvy turn and then we take the left at the top of the hill into Harbor Trace - there is a sign that marks the neighborhood.

Once you enter into Harbor Trace, it is more curves with Speed Bumps added and Houses too...

You just follow the road all the way around until we find our road

But if you look over to the left, you will see the Lakes thru the woods.

Windy Beach will then be on the Right

Our House is the 3rd House on the Left
It is half hidden by the trees and it is so quiet back here in the neighborhood.

Just wanted to let you know where we were located here in the quiet Gated Community of Carolina Trace...if you plan to visit, be sure to let us know or else you can't get in!! ;o)

Jealous Much?

So, I was sitting in the Recliner, our only real piece of furniture for now.....and once James climbed up into my lap to watch Spongebob Squarepants....Murphy decided that he wanted to get up there with me as well, or with James, not sure with who???

James was more focused on the TV and Murphy wanted to give kisses and was trying to get comfortable.

It was very difficult for both Murphy and James to complete their tasks at hand, as for me I just couldn't move.

Once Murphy laid down James decided to lay across him, and Murphy really didn't seem to mind at all and I really don't think that James would've cared if he did.

Murphy was a very good boy by letting James lay across him like this and he didn't even try to eat his apple! Good thing it wasn't a Swiss Roll! ;o)

Once they both got settled, it was actually quite comfortable and if only we could've changed the channel without James crying, it would've been pretty good TV watching! But, Spongebob and Backyardigans it was!

Lazy Day...

Brittany wanted to get James to take a nap, looks like it helped for her to take one with him?!

James always shared the chair with Aunt Kelly. I think he usually thought that Aunt Kelly was the chair? ;o)

This is the sweetest picture of James with Uncle Justin, I love the way that James is looking at him, he Loves him sooooo much!!! James would get so excited everyday when Justin got home and this day he had to show Justin that he had his "Army" shirt on! too cute!!

And then there was Unpacking...

So, In case you don't remember...My Mom & I had everything packed how we liked it and then were advised that the Army was going to come and repack. Well, what they did was just put what we did into their boxes. What I found out once starting to unpack was that they combined Kitchen, bedroom, Christmas, etc all into one box marked Christmas or whatever.

So, I had advised Justin to have all of the Christmas boxes just placed out into the Storage shed. Once I had unpacked all of the boxes and realized half my kitchen utensils were not there I had to go through all of the boxes in Shed.

This made for ALOT of unpacking and then re-packing of the Christmas ornaments/decorations and storing them back out in the Storage Shed.
We brought the Bedframe with us from Dallas, however, we left all of the Hardware to put it together, duh! So, we will have to get that in order to put it together. Details, eh?

You'll see here some of the Bedroom stuff, however, my clothes boxes are hidden in the closet. ;o)
Justin was kind enough to take the upstairs closet knowing that this would not be enough room for the both of us.

Justin's main duty was to get in touch with Direct TV, I had made the appointment for them to be there between 12-4 but they got there at 11...when are they ever early??? So, they got there before I did with the receivers. They did what they needed to do as it was easy since there was already a dish, but when we hooked it up, we didn't have any channels...AND it was Super Bowl Sunday...Not Good...But Justin got it to work after walking through it with Direct TV.
However, I do have to say that he didn't get the remote to work, he put in new batteries and it just wouldn't work. I finally played with it later and realized that the batteries were in upside down, I put them in correct and guess what, it worked!!! HOOAH.

Justin, Brittany & James went to the grocery store and by the time they got back I had the living room somewhat organized.

It was really driving me crazy that we didn't have any area with no boxes, so I took care of that.

This is the point that I say that I am definitely my Mother's Daughter, as I knew I had it in me, but it really showed on this day. ;o)
