My Sister-In-Law, Brittany & her son, James joined me & Murphy on our move from TX to NC and this made the trip more entertaining to say the least. We did not even make it to Garland and James was already passed out! We got a late start and got stuck in that good ol' City traffic getting out of Texas. We were sure to take pics daily during his nap time and he always had this same pose. ;o)
The 1st day of the drive, Murphy was not too sure about sharing "his" backseat with some kid. He spent alot of time on me, no matter that I was driving. He and James were still getting to know eachother.
Murphy liked to sleep in between the two front seats as well, but soon became very protective of James. This bond formed quickly. It was soooo cute to watch and don't worry there are plenty of pics!
Due to the late start in TX we didn't get too far into LA before we called it a night. This is where Murphy and James really got to know eachother.
They were running around and Murphy sure made sure that James ok at all times.
We learned that Murphy likes little boys toes. ;o)
Wherever James would move throughout the room Murphy would always have his eyes on him. He did not want him to go too far. James talks in his sleep and it really confused Murphy, He thought that James was in trouble and he would get right up next to him and lay right beside him to protect him.
This made the next day's car ride even more interesting....
